Dick Contino stars as Phil Sandifer, a part time truck driver and singer who is almost run off road by a feisty buxom platinum blonde. They meet up again in a local bar and she challenges him to a midnight drag race through Griffith Park. Meanwhile, Phil's friend Sonny is forced off the road and dies in a car crash. Phil is arrested for wreckless driving and accused of killing Sonny, he proves his innocence but has his driving licence revoked.
