The story begins with the death of Henry VII and the imparting of his key words of guidance to the young Henry in his new position as King of England - that of ensuring the succession and having sons. Henry's familiar actions throughout his 38 year reign are followed with particular emphasis on the varied and ultimately unsuccessful relationships with his six wives. Births, Marriages And Deaths - On Terry's stag day he is joined by his two best mates, Alan and Graham. They have all been friends since they were pupils at the run-down local primary school and although they are nearly forty, they still haven't grown up. The drunk threesome decide to pay a late night visit to their old headmaster who terrorised them as schoolboys. When he opens the door to them a chain of events is sent in motion which reveals terrible secrets, murder and infidelity...
